Taka Pay is implementing a penetration strategy that pursues the objective of quantity maximization through affordable pricing. Each waste management agent will be required to handle 150 – 200 disposers/ polluters with an average monthly income of Ksh. 15,000.

No cash is exchanged when using Green Mama. All payments are made through mobile money or credit cards (this information is part of the signup process). Users are charged electronically. A receipt including customer details is immediately emailed to the client. A trader can then be rated (and the user can also rate the collector) and check a map of the route taken. Our penetration strategy pursues the objective of quantity maximization by means of a low market price We shall charge subscription fees on polluter pays principle as follows:
- Ksh. 300 per month as waste management fees payable by the disposer/ polluter.
- Ksh. 120 per month as waste management fees for single room plots.
- Ksh. 48 per disposer/ polluter per month payable to Kenya Revenue Authority as VAT.
- Ksh. 30 per disposer per month payable to county governments as service fee.
- Ksh. 40 for 4 disposable waste management plastic bags per months issued to disposers.
The services to be included in the monthly waste management fee include:
- Waste collection twice a week.
- Issuance of 4 plastic waste management bag.
- Slashing and clearance of blocked drainages.
- Cleaning of shared toilets once a week in plots.
- Issuance of fabricated solar powered metallic stalls for hawkers at Ksh. 10 daily.
